Target Tailored Screening Chemical Collections

At PIKAÏROS, we design and curate tailored chemical collections through our Discovery Workflow MOLÏNTIME® to address emerging and high-value drug targets.

Each collection is built to provide pharma and biotech partners with synthetically accessible, computationally optimized molecules, ready to advance from in silico design to experimental validation.

What are our Tailored Chemical Collections?

We achieve Target-Centric Tailored Chemical Collections through MOLÏNTIME®, a molecule discovery service that transforms raw chemical and biological data into a focused selection of target-specific, pharmacologically relevant molecules.

Starting from a target name, our platform curates, analyzes, and learns from public databases and patents to rapidly explore chemical spaces and generate novel molecular suggestions.

We integrate:

  • Intelligent navigation across diverse and large chemical spaces
  • Scaffold-based expansion
  • Multi-criteria prioritization including novelty, potency, ADMET, and synthetic feasibility

to ensure that each molecule is not only plausible but also synthesizable, and ready for experimental screening.

Each collection contains:

  • Hundreds of molecules (organized in chemical series)

  • QSAR-predicted activity profiles against the target

  • QSPR-based ADMET evaluations for early risk assessment

  • Synthetic accessibility routes for rapid laboratory translation

Why do they matter?
  • Target Novelty: Focus on drug targets with strong biological rationale but limited existing inhibitors.

  • Accelerated Discovery: In silico pre-validated libraries shorten the hit-identification and hit-to-lead-to-candidate phases.

  • Synthetic Readiness: Molecules are not just theoretical — each one has a practical synthetic path.

  • Strategic Flexibility: Use as starting points for SAR exploration or hit optimization.

Applications
  • Early-stage hit discovery and lead to candidate optimization in a wide variety of therapeutic areas

  • SAR exploration across diverse molecular series

  • Patent landscaping for freedom-to-operate assessment

  • Collaborative R&D projects and licensing opportunities

We continuously expand our portfolio of Tailored Chemical Collections. Examples include:

  • MERTK (Tyrosine-protein kinase Mer) — a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in immune regulation and oncology.

  • FAP (Fibroblast activation protein) — a serine protease expressed in tumor stroma and fibrotic diseases.

  • EPHX2 (sEH) – Encodes an enzyme that regulates bioactive lipid metabolism, impacting inflammation and cardiovascular health.
  • RIPK1(receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1) – A kinase controlling cell death and inflammation, implicated in neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases.
  • SLC5A2 (Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2) — clinically validated target for type 2 diabetes treatment.

  • IRAK4 (Interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein-like 4) — immune system modulator linked to inflammatory pathways.

Each collection is available for collaboration or licensing — either in full or by selected molecular series.
